Little White Lies
Little White Lies attempts to show how lies can proliferate in our lives. Each one in and of itself is insignificant, but taken together they create a mass of lies. This piece speaks to the fact that lies exist in everyone’s life. Even those people that pride themselves on their honesty will find a shocking number of lies in their life if they include all manner of lies – posturing, putting a spin on things, insincere compliments, saying things that are socially acceptable that they don’t really believe – even coloring our hair or cosmetic surgery can be counted as a kind of lie.
