Protecting the Princess Myth is about women’s lies and secrets that they tell / keep in order to protect the image of themselves as pure, chaste, good, loving, maternal, having integrity, being strong and centered,. Through lies and secrets of all sizes, women hide events and feelings that could tarnish the image of purity – rape, incest, domestic violence, abortion, promiscuity, feelings of anger or even hate for loved ones, etc.
