Unlying
Unlying is about coming clean, shedding lies, exposing truths, revealing secrets. The layers represent the fact that lies often get covered by other untruths and even get covered with other truths as a way of hiding or protecting them. The process can be slow, long and can force a person to return again and again to the same place. There is more color in this piece than usual in my pieces because I wanted to represent all the various stages of unlying. Dark Dirty lies are represented by the black, truth by gold and irridesence, honest reflection by white, etc.
